Passport Information

• Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay and must have at least two blank visa pages for processing.


• U.S. Citizens do not need a Tourist nor business visas to enter The Dominican Republic for stay up to 90 days, Citizen of other countries can visit the Dominican Republic if they have a valid Passport from their own country and a valid US Resident Card (Green Card).


• Other citizens might need a visa please follow the instructions below.


• Non U.S. Citizens must provide a notarized copy, front and back of a U.S. Green card or I-94; in order to have a visa processed.

Tourist Visa

• VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR NON-U.S. CITIZENS TO ENTER THE Dominican Republic.


• Tourism Visas.


• Letter of application addressed to the consul or the Minister of Foreign Relations (in case the person is already in the DR), signed by the applicant or legal representative. The letter of request can be issued by an individual or a company and should contain the following:


• Name, nationality, place of residence, economic solvency and the profession of the interested party or the activity to which the applicant is or will be dedicated in the country.


• If the person is employed or to be employed by a company in the Dominican Republic, the application should be made on company stationary and signed by the highest ranking officer of the company, indicating the position to be occupied by the applicant. The company needs to establish that it will be responsible for the applicant during his stay in the country.


• Form 509-Ref -Typed or printed, accompanied with an Internal Revenue Service stamp.


• Three front view 2 x 2 photographs.


• Two complete copies of all pages of applicant's passport.


• Certificate of Good Conduct issued in the jurisdiction of origin. If the beneficiary has been more than three months in the country, it needs to be issued by the competent local judicial authority.

 

Business Visa

• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond intended stay.


• 2 Visa Application Forms – Link fully completed and signed.


• 2 Passport-type photographs required.


• Copy of itinerary or air tickets.


• A letter of invitation from the inviting company in Algeria.


• A business Letter of Guarantee – Link is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Djibouti /Visa Section/ Washington D.C., That must clearly explain the purpose of travel; Guarantee financial support for the visit and return transportation; name and address of the business reference to be visited the letter should be signed by an officer or manager of the company, other than the applicant.

• Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination required for Yellow Fever if Arriving from Infected Area within 5 days.
